Implementing women's sports scholarships is crucial for fostering inclusivity, empowering female athletes, and enriching the collegiate sports community.
The proposed project aims to establish a comprehensive support system for women students on sports scholarships at our institution, ensuring their holistic development and success both on and off the field. To achieve this goal, the project will encompass a range of activities and interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of female student-athletes.
Scholarship Expansion
Expanding the availability of sports scholarships for women students, ensuring equitable access to financial support for talented female athletes.
Mentorship Program
Implementing a mentorship program pairing female student-athletes with experienced coaches, alumni, or professional athletes to provide guidance, support, and career advice.
Academic Support Services
Offering academic support services such as tutoring, study groups, and academic advising to help them balance their academic responsibilities with their athletic pursuits.
Phase 1 - Research and planning phase, including needs assessment, stakeholder consultations, and development of program frameworks.
Phase 2 - Implementation of scholarship expansion and mentorship program, recruitment of mentors, and initiation of academic support services.
Phase 3 - Rollout of leadership development workshops and wellness programs, with ongoing monitoring and evaluation of program effectiveness.
Phase 4 - Evaluation and refinement of program components based on feedback from participants and stakeholders, with a focus on sustainability and long-term impact.

Selected students admitted through the sports quota will receive full scholarships covering their tuition fees for the entire academic year, ensuring access to quality education.
Scholarship recipients can utilize campus boarding, lodging, and sports facilities to enhance academic pursuits and engage in sporting activities.
Recipients of the scholarship will get the necessary sports attire and equipment to enable them to train and perform at their optimal capacity.
Athletes will be able to go to different tournaments with the help of funds that will cover their trip costs, registration fees, and other costs.
Athletes who suffer injuries during training or competition will receive the necessary medical attention and therapy. Ensuring that their health and well-being are prioritized.
Experienced coaches will be recruited to provide specialized training and guidance to the sports teams to enhance their performance and skills.
Scholarship recipients will be given a nutrition plan to make sure they get the right food to keep up with their hard training and studies.
The establishment of dedicated sports scholarships for women will encourage greater participation of female students in athletics, promoting gender equity and diversity within the sports community. Over the period in MCC, this program aims to enable women sports persons to participate in and win university-level competitions. We aim those 3 students will win awards in the university completion in the first year, 7 in second year and 12 in year three.
Academic support services and mentorship programs will facilitate the academic success of women student-athletes, ensuring they can excel both in their studies and on the field.
Leadership workshops and mentorship opportunities will empower female athletes to develop essential leadership skills, fostering their growth as leaders within the sports arena and beyond.
Access to wellness programs and mental health resources will contribute to the overall well-being of women student-athletes, promoting a healthy balance between academics, athletics, and personal life.
By investing in the holistic development of women student-athletes, the proposal will have a lasting impact, producing confident, resilient, and empowered individuals who will continue to contribute positively to society beyond their collegiate years.
