EMPOWERING WOMEN IN SPORTS AND INTER HALL SPORTS 2025

Sports offer tremendous opportunities. It inspires individuals to reach their full potential while fostering teamwork and resilience. Madras Christian College has a rich legacy of developing outstanding achievers in both curricular and extra curricular activities like sports, cultural activities, etc. Practicing Sports instills sportsmanship and the invaluable experiences they acquire during their time on campus.

One significant event worth mentioning is the Inter Hall Sports Meet, which occurs annually among the six hall of residence of MCC. The main agenda is to aid students in acquireing the necessary skills to manage various challenges they may face in the future in natural alignment with framework - Sports for Personality Development.

The 83rd Inter Hall Sports 2025 was presides by Mr. Sajeeve Thomas, a distinguished alumnus of the college honoring the winners.. He has also initiated a Women Sports Scholarship, with a significant donation of fifteen lakhs to empower women students through sports as a sustainable development goal. This contribution has encouraged eligible women students to participate in sports and take advantage of the opportunities available to them.
